The Ambassador Club works with the board of
directors and staff of the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce to
increase membership recruitment and retention. These dedicated
businesspeople build their own professional network while representing
the Chamber at community events, welcoming new businesses to the
Valley, and spreading the word about the benefits of Chamber
membership.
Ambassadors attend the Chamber’s monthly Business After Hours networking events, which take place on third Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and participate in ribbon-cutting ceremonies. They also personally contact hundreds of businesses each year on the Chamber’s behalf, welcoming new members and making a friendly first impression to other newcomers through phone calls, visits, or notes. This important business-to-business connection increases Chamber membership and participation while giving club members the opportunity to make valuable professional contacts.
